Staff writer
Staff writers must cover a beat.
They must file at least eight stories each semester, and six briefs each semester.
Staff writers must contribute at least two multimedia elements each semester. Staff writers must shoot video for their stories, as needed.
Staff writers must attend all Friday staff meetings, as well as a weekly writers meeting.
Staff writers must pitch stories and be the authority on the area of campus they are covering.

Assistant Editors must attend all Friday staff meetings, as well as a weekly writers meeting.
